Established in 1994, the Alliance and its board is composed of economic development professionals from each of its member organizations. These members work jointly to promote and grow the region while building strong relationships with the businesses and communities they serve.

Since its inception, the Alliance has collaborated with its state, regional and local partners in bringing new companies to Greater Jackson and assisting existing companies in the area meet their expansion needs. GJA routinely markets the region around the globe at trade shows and industrial recruitment events, showcasing the distinct advantages found in the area.

Embracing the philosophy that “we are stronger together,” the goal of Alliance and its partners is to make Central Mississippi the premier location for business and industry.
